Working with Sweet Auburn Works / SPARK Labs, Led a Group of 12 Student Designers to Create A Rewarding Visitor Experience, and Bring Attention to this History and Story Rich District.
The Hero Walk is envisioned to weave together the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail and John Lewis Freedom Parkway with Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park and Historic Oakland Cemetery along with the emerging Memorial Drive Greenway and less activated parts of Atlanta's urban core, all while telling a compelling story of Atlanta's Black heroes past and present.The walk is only 1.1 miles from the Jackson Street Bridge to Historic Oakland Cemetery, and along the way will pay homage the many great spiritual, civic, and political leaders whose legacies lie in Sweet Auburn.The Hero Walk is an opportunity to experience the Sweet Auburn Historic District as a living monument, lifting up stories of the community through activating the existing built environment with strategies including historic markers and wayfinding, temporary and permanent installations, and more.

SCADPro
The goal of our SCADpro team is to work alongside Quixel and Epic Games to break down, test, and document our experiences working with their proprietary photogrammetry methodologies, including flash scanning, 2-D scanning, and drone scanning.
We are a team of fourteen students from different majors and backgrounds who have come together to do something amazing. What we’ve done over the past ten weeks is test, grade, and create fully rendered 3-D virtual assets using the equipment and practices of Quixel. We have gone back to the drawing board on several occasions, but have continued to grow and learn upon what has been provided to us. It was never our goal to delve from the parameters set by our client, but rather see if these practices were foolproof, and if not, analyze where the weak points were. With all of that being said, let’s dive into the details of photogrammetry.
